Today was a busy, busy day. We had 2 real estate agents come to our house, to help us decide if we should sell our house or not. On top of that stress, we have our church's Christmas Party tomorrow, and I'm one of the people in charge of putting it all together. In a nutshell, I'm pretty surprised that I didn't actually go crazy today. And I'm even more surprised that I stayed on track with my diet, amidst all the stress and craziness of today. I'm pretty darn proud of myself for getting through 4 complete days with no cheats (minus 1 oreo:).
That got me to thinkin'... I really need to have a reward for myself when I get through the 1st cycle (and the 2nd, and 3rd:). And THIS is what I've decided it's going to be:LOVE. This will so be waiting for me in 13 days.

Oh cute purse; I bought my younger daughter a similar Kate Spade purse for Christmas. I cheated a bit too much and only lost 9 pounds but I have been sort of doing cycle 1 again with just a few deviations. When I was dieting and blogging in the beginning I bought myself a pandora charm for success- I purchased 2. I just don't want to obsess about food now!! You are doing GREAT!! Did you buy the journal that goes along with the book? I actually bought it first- it's a paperback.
I think that rewards are a great idea. I focused on buying my first pair of riding boots all through the most agressive part of my weight loss journey. A little bit of incentive can get A TON done.
I haven't done much with rewards but my best reward is my clothes fitting looser and being happy with myself. I like your reward idea and maybe I should set some goals to get some. It sounds like fun! You are doing great. Yesterday was my first day eating perfectly and I did it! A little to few calories so I'll need to eat a little more today but a great day. I was actually thinking about this today! When I hit my 10 pound weight loss I think I'm going to buy a nice handbag as well....or shoes. Maybe a nice Tiffany piece to wear and remember my accomplishments.... ;)
