I've been feeling rather frustrated lately.
I've been passing up all sorts of delicious things, in an effort to lose weight, and I have absolutely nothing to show for it.
I am stuck at 167. The frustrating thing is, I used to be 161 a little while ago. I had a bad few weeks, and gained 6 pounds. For the past couple weeks, I have been doing everything right. Eating healthy, exercising, drink all my water... and nothing. Since I was able to get down to 161 a little while ago, I don't really think this is a plateau. I'm just stuck. And it's frustrating. So naturally, I decided to have a donut. Will this solve my scale problems? No. Is it good? Yes.
I will be my normal, Deliciously Healthy self tomorrow.
Today, I'm a rebel.

You are funny.... Hang in there.... it will come
you're doing the right things, try not to get too frustrated :)
Are you tracking inches as well? Sometimes your clothes are looser before the scale goes down!
you are doing great! I just wanted to say you looked sooo cute in your christmas pics, I don't think I've commented in a while, but you are way inspiring, keep it up!
That donut looks delicious.
Hang in there, girl! :)
MEASURE, MEASURE, MEASURE! Just last post (or the one before) you were talking about how you could pull your pants down without unbuttoning them! You're doing awesome.
Yum! Sometimes you just have to eat the doughnut! And sometimes, that has to be okay!! :)
HaHa! Just a little tip here- no donuts in the house! I really think I do best when my pantry is limited and as for your baking...well, I have been there. Those chocolate chip cookies were calling my name. Do you have anyone besides your hubby that you can share your baked goodies with? I take things up to my church all the time and I am wanting to bake some cinnamon rolls later today. I won't eat a bite but baking is just in my blood- I find it a great stress reliever! I bet you will see the 150s soon.
Perhaps it was all the Christmas cookies and baking??? I was surprised at all the cookie recipes you posted- none of them looked particularly healthy to me, and I know I'd eat them all if I was baking those in my house. :) Keep at it- you'll get there!
eh...one donut never made anyone fat. Enjoy it, life is short, and then get back on the horse...
Sometimes life calls for a donut. :)
When I bake lower calorie goodies, I'm very good at exercising moderation. When I made my 12 days of Christmas cookies, I made sure to only have 1 (2 max) cookie a day. I gave a lot of them away, as Christmas presents. I was actually able to lose 3 pounds during that time. With my chocolate chip cookies, I only had 2 cookies, over a 3 day period. My husband took care of the rest ;) So I'm pretty good at not going over bored on eating the "Deliciously Healthy" things I bake. But maybe I should only bake sweets a couple times a month, instead of a couple times a week, lol! I don't want to cut it out completely, because it makes me happy, sane, and helps me to feel like this is a lifestyle, not a diet. I'm starting to feel crampy, so maybe it's going to be that time of the month soon, which might explain why the scale isn't moving. Thanks for your input ladies! :D
you've earned that 1 donut, lol! back to it tomorrow, lol
Everyone needs a donut occasionally :)
One donut never hurt anyone- YUM!
My big donut binge was on Fri (they bring donuts to work about every 6 weeks) and the scale was good to me on Sat and Sun, much better than it's been in months and months. But of course it was up on Mon for no identifiable reason. Seems like there's not much rhyme or reason so I'd guess as long as you work that donut into your meal plan that day, it's not going to matter at all and may end up keeping you more motivate than if you felt deprived.
Keep your head up, lady! And if one donut is what boosts your spirits, by all means, have at it.
Just continue to put in the effort, even when it doesn't make sense. The good days on the scale are worth it.
You and I are so much alike. I love that you answered the 'will this help me overall' question. Maybe you're stuck at 167 to wait on me....HOPEFULLY :) JK
mmmmmmmmm.....donuts (Getting in touch with my inner Homer Simpson)
You crack me up. Sometimes you just have to eat a treat. I am sure the weight will start to move. Dont give up girly!
xo
"The eye of the donut"
Hey even the best of us need to give in to the odd donut now and again, but stay positive, you'll succeed- you have that strength and fire in you that will keep you going. XOXO
I hear you! I've maintained for a LONG TIME and I just want to lose!
